Digital Photography with David Brazil
Saturday 29 July | 10am – 3pm | $150 / $145 (Insight Members)

In conjunction with the National Photographic Portrait Exhibition, the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre will be holding a fun–filled, one day hands on photography workshop led by local artist and photographer, David Brazil. This workshop is for beginners and enthusiast photographers – basically anyone looking for inspiration and deepening their connection to photographic practice and art.

This is a practical workshop with emphasis on doing – trying new techniques and experimenting with different approaches to subjects. You will need a digital camera preferably a digital SLR with interchangeable lenses, but any camera will do. If you have a tripod, please bring it along. If you have a macro (close focussing) lens, please bring that along too.

Over the course of the day all participants will have a chance to try their hand at 3 practical demonstrations

David Brazil is a photographic artist and educator based in the Blue Mountains. His work has been exhibited at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre in 2013-2014 and he also exhibited as part of the HeadOn photo festival for the past 4 years.
