Katoomba Library is co-located within the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre. The library space of nearly 900 m2 is a wonderful resource for the whole community. It includes multi-purpose spaces for activities such as children’s storytimes, book launches and quiet study. There are lounges for reading and additional areas for meetings. The library features 12 internet terminals and free wi-fi access throughout the entire Blue Mountains Cultural Centre. This is the first new library to be built in the Blue Mountains for over 30 years. It is a bright and modern facility with plenty of natural light and quiet spaces.
