Whether you’re looking for a space for 2 or 100, we’re sure to have the ideal space for your needs.Located in the heart of Katoomba, the Centre is within easy walking distance from Katoomba train station and there is plenty of parking available within the Centre, accessed from Parke Street.

The Cultural Centre requires a minimum of 7 days notice for venue bookings.

The hours of operation for the Cultural Centre are:
– 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday
– 10am – 4pm Saturday and Sunday
Functions held after operating hours attract additional security and staffing charges, starting from $200 for 4 hours for a single staff member depending on the size of the event. Larger events will require the addition of a Security guard.
The Centre is not open to outside catering. Events must be catered for by the Cultural Centre’s catering team.

Cultural Centre Venue Hire Facilities
Administration Meeting Room : 2 – 8 people
An intimate, circular space makes this the perfect meeting room for 2-8 people. Ideal for small break-out groups, meetings, interviews, one-on-one sessions and brainstorming. Facilities include free Wi-Fi access.
Meeting Lounge: 1-5 people
For small meetings, interviews, workshops, break-out and brainstorming groups.
Workshop room : Up to 50 people
A creative, active space primarily used as a ‘wet area’ (art workshops with sinks), the multi-purpose room features spectacular views of the Jamison Valley. Measuring 112m2 and with the ability to arrange into various configurations, this space is ideal for break-out groups, relaxed corporate presentations, art workshops, intimate performance and more. Facilities include floor power, bench-tops and presentation facilities are available upon request.
Theatrette / Seminar room: Up to 70 people
The Theatrette is 84m2 and features a transportable raised stage and re-configurable seating for up to 70 people. Ideal for presentations, break-outs, seminars, talks, readings and intimate performances. Facilities of this room include microphone, speakers, WiFi and data projector.
The primary Gallery space measures 600m2. Dependant on the exhibition currently on show, there can be the opportunity to hold unique, upmarket events amongst the works of art – for example a high-class cocktail event or corporate product launch. A unique opportunity to impress! Gallery available after hours.
Outdoor Courtyard / Viewing Platform
Ideal for large gatherings or outdoor performances outside of normal Cultural Centre operating hours, this 863m2 space is best suited as a dry weather option. Eaves only offer limited protection from weather and elements. The Courtyard leads onto the Viewing Platform, offering spectacular views of the Jamison Valley, from the highest point in Katoomba.
