Join Tania from Wild Botanik textiles to learn traditional hand sewing techniques with a modern twist. Tania will take you through embroidery and modern quilting techniques to apply to unique handmade pieces. Inspiration for this class is taken from ‘embroidery samplers’ from yesteryear as well as contemporary stencil applique work. You will also learn how to mend and darn holes in your clothes or add fun and interesting decorative patches. This class will give you new skills to personalise existing garments as well as inspire you to play with traditional sewing techniques and create from scratch.
