REFLECTIONS NAIDOC 2026
4 – 26 Jul
Fifty Years of Deadly marks a milestone. It is a tribute to the people who built the NAIDOC movement, and reflects on time passed, while recognising the momentum that still builds. We honour what came before by continuing the work.
Curated by Aunty Elly Chatfield, this year’s NAIDOC exhibition, REFLECTIONS, invites viewers to consider how each contributing artist has responded to this Culturally significant milestone.
This year’s theme honours the Elders who stood firm, the organisers who made space, the artists who turned resistance into expression, and the Communities who keep showing up year after year. NAIDOC has always been more than a week – it’s a platform, a celebration, a statement of survival, and a stance of resilience.
