We are committed to promoting our contemporary culture, World Heritage environment and history within an Australian and international context by supporting and showcasing regional artistic and cultural activity. In doing so, we will stimulate the social, economic and cultural vitality of the region.
Through delivering a dynamic, educational and inspiring program of activities, we will achieve recognition as a unique, vibrant cultural facility and destination for the local community and visitors.

Blue Mountains City Council City Art Committee members
The purpose of the Blue Mountains City Council City Art Committee (the City Art Committee) is to advise on the art collections of the Blue Mountains City Council in line with the City Art Policy (including Public Art) and the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre Fine Art Collection Policy.
The Committee comprises members selected for their specialist skills and experience in Arts, public collections and business management who have a dedication and commitment to the development of the Arts in the Blue Mountains, each of whom is approved by the Blue Mountains City Council.
