- Katoomba (Cultural Centre) – open 7 days a week, Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm and Sat – Sun 9am – 4pm
- Katoomba (Echo Point) – open 7 days a week, 9am – 4pm
- Glenbrook – open 7 days a week: Mon – Sat 8.30am – 3.30pm and Sun 8.30am – 3pm

Our Visitor Information Centre in Katoomba town centre is located a short distance from Katoomba Station, within the exciting Blue Mountains Cultural Centre.
Alongside an extensive range of maps, specialty guidebooks (on local flora, fauna and trails to discover), and locally made and sourced souvenirs, including the MTNS MADE range, visitors can also explore a wealth of innovative, diverse, distinctive and creative cultural programs and exhibitions.
The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre also encompasses the Blue Mountains City Art Gallery, Katoomba Library and Into the Blue, an interactive exhibition that explores the history and natural landscape of the Blue Mountains.
Blue Mountains Visitor Information Centre – Echo Point, Katoomba
Echo Point Road, Katoomba
Our main Visitor Information Centre at Katoomba is nestled in the Echo Point precinct – the home of the world famous Three Sisters.
Follow the blue and yellow accredited ‘i’ signs from the main township of Katoomba heading south to Echo Point. You’ll know you have arrived when you are captivated by the panoramic vista that surrounds you, with the pinnacle being the Three Sisters.
Echo Point lookout is on the traditional land of the Gundungurra and Dharug People. Perched on the edge of the escarpment, it has gorgeous views of the Jamison Valley. The lookout is the gateway to many great walks, from the easy pathway that leads out to the Three Sisters to the more challenging Giant Stairway which leads you down almost 1,000 stairs to the valley floor.

Located at the base of the mountains, off the Great Western Highway, near the beautiful village of Glenbrook.
Look out for our blue and yellow accredited ‘i’ signs directing you into the rest area.
