By Car

Undercover parking (access via Parke St) is available below the Cultural Centre, which also provides elevator access. The Cultural Centre is located on level 1.

By Train

Trains arrive at Katoomba Station every hour, and we are only a short journey from the station on foot or bike via Katoomba St or Parke St. We’re directly alongside the Carrington Hotel (you can’t miss the giant smokestack).

Accessibility

For disability vehicles or small mini buses please contact us on 4780 5410 prior to your visit to have the bollards removed from the College Lane corner. From this location wheelchair ramps and banisters can be used to gain access to be building.
There are accessible parking spaces available within the Cultural Centre building (accessed via Parke Street) underneath Coles Supermarkets. There is also lift access to the Cultural Centre from the two parking levels.

The KSCA Network Map is a new artwork for Art of Adaptation: Culture Changes Everywhere. Creation started with the first day of the survey show at Manly Art Gallery & Museum and will continue here at BMCC. The piece is an experiment in collaboratively mapping the myriad connections of collaboration and influence which constitute KSCA’s activities over the last decade.

Join us to witness a work of live art when the Network Map will be continued in-situ by KSCA members on Saturday 20 June from 11 am, and will continue until the group decides it is “finished” (it will, of course, never be finished). The foundation of the map is based not on roads and typical navigation but on the creek and river systems that begin in Wiradjuri Country – in the Capertee Valley, just east of Kandos, and flow to the banks of Dyarubbin (Hawkesbury River) into the ocean on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
