NAIDOC Community Day 2022

The 2022 NAIDOC Community Day will be a full day of celebrations. Visit the exhibition and listen to the artists speak about their inspiration, watch the fabulous Wagana Aboriginal Dancers and join the workshops. Make an animal mask or clay echidna with Cindy Laws; join Darren Charlwood and learn to weave Lomandra into a beautiful bracelet or try out some story telling through symbolism with a mind-map workshop. Stay for sundown, take part in the Yarning Circle and enjoy some freshly made damper.

30 min classes with Darren Charlwood. Tickets are free, but essential via Eventbrite. Spaces are limited.

Family Workshops: Cindy Laws stories and craft

Smoking Ceremony & Yarning Circle
4.30 – 6.00 pm
Commencing with a Smoking Ceremony our Yarning Circle will be on the topic of the Uluru Statement from the Heart. Join us around the warming fire for a chat, some damper and a cuppa. Free event, no bookings needed.

* Family Workshops tickets:
$15 per adult / $10 InSight Members. Workshops have been designed for groups of families/friends with children, and at least one adult in the group. When purchasing an adult ticket you may add on up to 5 additional people to the booking.
