Mtns Zine Club meet at the Cultural Centre from 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm on the third Sunday of each month.

Mtns Zine Club is a space to connect and grow the zine community in the Blue Mountains. Join us for a cup of tea, some snipping and gluing, good company, abundant inspiration and some creative fun. Everyone is welcome, and entry is free, there is no need to register in advance. These meet-ups are hosted by Mtns Zine Club members, please remember children 17 years and under need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. We value inclusivity and accessibility, so please let us know of any needs or questions you might have. All materials are provided, plus tea and coffee; bring your own cup.

Zines (“zeens” – from magazines) are independently produced DIY publications, usually made for love rather than profit, and filled with any combination of art, poetry, activism, literature – the possibilities are endless. The Mtns Zine Club have been meeting since 2022, they are open collective of zine-makers and artists in the Blue Mountains. They organise the annual Blue Mountains Zine Fair, and produce a semi-regular zine anthology ‘Up In The Air. The monthly meet-up is supported by the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre.
