Lumen Printing and Photo Collage
Saturday 14 November
12.30 – 3.30 pm
Using small personal items and camera-less photography, you will experiment, cut, layer, and reassemble to create subtle, luminous collages.
Explore the possibilities of camera-less photography in this hands-on workshop combining lumen printing and photo collage. Participants will learn how to create luminous photographic images using light-sensitive paper, found objects, and outdoor light. You will then transform your prints through collage, cutting, tearing, layering, recombining elements to build entirely new compositions. The workshop will introduce simple photographic processes and playful approaches to image-making, with an emphasis on experimentation, materiality and chance. Embrace surprise, think outside the frame, and transform everyday elements into luminous works of art. All core materials will be provided.
Bring with you: Participants are welcome to bring opaque or semi-opaque objects to work with, such as leaves, flowers, jewellery, fabric, glassware or other small personal items.
