Head in the Clouds

The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre will host Head In The Clouds, an exhibition curated by Katoomba photographer Ann Niddrie featuring photographs around Katoomba and at the Cultural Centre. Featuring 20 photographic portraits of Blue Mountains professional artists shot by five photographers with markedly different styles, Head In The Clouds offers the viewer a glimpse into each artists’ inner world. Artists featured in the exhibition include Scott Marr, Ella Markstein, Mathew Lynn and Sarah Breen-Lovett.
The photographers contributing to the exhibition are Peter Adams, Alex Benetel, Ona Janzen, Ann Niddrie and Mandy Shoene-Salter. The indoor exhibition will be held in the Lounge area of the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, whilst outside on Katoomba Street a series of 15 banners will hang from lightposts to bring some creative flavour to the streetscape over the three weeks of the exhibition.
Head in the Clouds is an associate exhibition of Head On Photo Festival 2015.
