Relative Location: Colouring Space
7 June– 28 July 2013
Beata Geyer’s site-specific installations explore her ongoing interest in painting, colour and architecture. The first in our Exposé Exhibition Program series focusing on the work of contemporary Blue Mountains artists, Relative Location: Colouring Space will comprise a grid-like formation on the gallery floor of over 100 individually coloured monochromatic paintings. The resulting field of colour will alter the viewer’s perceptual experience of the gallery space by transgressing the traditional boundaries between painting, sculpture and architecture.
A Blue Mountains Cultural Centre Exposé program exhibition.
