Undercover parking (access via Parke St) is available below the Cultural Centre, which also provides elevator access. The Cultural Centre is located on level 1.

By Train

Trains arrive at Katoomba Station every hour, and we are only a short journey from the station on foot or bike via Katoomba St or Parke St. We’re directly alongside the Carrington Hotel (you can’t miss the giant smokestack).

Accessibility

For disability vehicles or small mini buses please contact us on 4780 5410 prior to your visit to have the bollards removed from the College Lane corner. From this location wheelchair ramps and banisters can be used to gain access to be building.
There are accessible parking spaces available within the Cultural Centre building (accessed via Parke Street) underneath Coles Supermarkets. There is also lift access to the Cultural Centre from the two parking levels.

ARTEXPRESS brings together a selection of outstanding student artworks developed for the artmaking component of the HSC examination in Visual Arts in NSW. The exhibition showcases a broad range of approaches and expressive forms, including ceramics, collection of works, documented forms, drawing, graphic design, painting, photomedia, printmaking, sculpture, textiles and fibre, and time-based forms. Blue Mountains City Art Gallery presents a selection of artworks by students from the Blue Mountains, the Central West and wider NSW. The works provide insights into issues that are important to the young artists, such as cultural and gender identity, social media, globalisation and climate change.

ARTEXPRESS is a joint venture of the NSW Department of Education and the NSW Education Standards Authority, hosted by Blue Mountains City Art Gallery.
