The Bungarribee trio creates freshly improvised performances on gems from the classical repertoire. Filtering them through worlds as different as jazz, folk, Balkan Rhythms and Indian Karnatic music. Featuring an exotic mix of instruments played by leading Australian contemporary musicians.
An amazing performance…some of the most interesting combinations of composed and improvised music that I’ve ever heard in Australia. Truly unique and pure pleasure for the listener.
