Learn to draw and paint fruit, flowers, vases, kitchen bowls, bottles and all the other objects that have traditionally made up still-life studies.
In this course you will gain an understanding of the methods of Da Vinci, Picasso, Cezanne, Morandi, Preston, Olley, Rae and more.
Beginning with basics, form, tone and perspective are explained simply and clearly so you can begin to compose exciting, subtle drawings and paintings.

About Rowen Matthews:
Rowen Matthews lives in Blackheath on the edge of the Grose Valley. He has been exhibiting his work professionally since 2000 and is the recipient of numerous awards including the Calleen Art Prize and the Blackheath Art Prize. Since 2003, he has taught in the Art Education Faculty at the University of New England and in 2015 he completed a PhD in Creative Practice.
