Susan Rushforth: Floor Talk

Join us in the gallery for an afternoon floor talk by Susan Rushforth who will describe the processes and traditional materials used in her work with reference to the two prints in the exhibition, Peter Rushforth: A Legacy. Susan will also share the influence of her father’s work on her approach to printmaking and how she finds aesthetic inspiration in nature.

Susan Rushforth studied woodblock printing ’Mokuhanga’ from traditional and contemporary masters in Japan from 1990 to 1994. Her work is in Australian and International collections, including the Art Gallery of NSW in Sydney.
