POSTPONED: Possibilities of Colour with Ashlee Bucholtz

POSTPONED: In light of the rapidly evolving situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have taken precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our patrons, staff and volunteers and decided to postpone our public programs and all non-essential public gatherings until further notice.

Explore colour, composition, emotion and memory through acrylic painting with Ashlee Bucholtz, Alumna of the National Art School. Through a range of practical exercises, students will explore the impact of colour to achieve tone, light and transparency across a range of subject matter. By learning to effectively use acrylic paint, mediums and glazes, and going beyond these rules of application, students will be encouraged to follow their emotional connection to colour through the joy of painting and create works that challenge the way colour is perceived within internal and external space.
