Copper Plate Etching with Liz Perfect

Using botanical illustrations as inspiration, specimens from the Royal Botanic Garden herbarium or favourite plants from your own backyard, Liz Perfect will guide students through the practical and artistic processes of developing a copper plate etching. Over four weeks you will learn how to make a series of proofs to develop your own botanical themed artwork using hardground and aquatint. Students will be also be given the opportunity to explore drypoint and monotype to create their own gestural and expressive art prints.
