The Collective Monochrome

Saturday 19 March, 12:30pm – 3:00pm

FREE EVENT

As a special performance of the MAPSPACE exhibition you are invited to participate in the making of a spectacular experimental arts program titled, The Collective Monochrome. Participants are invited to participate in the making of a large scale contemporary painting by painting a small canvas supplied. When all the panels are completed and rehung in the Gallery space, the work is deemed completed. The program managed by artist Billy Gruner began in 2003 and has since been completed in many cities around the world over the past decade. It is fitting that the final work will now be done in the artists own home town here in the Blue Mountains. Please join us for a historic closure of a major artistic program.

RSVPs appreciated at Reception or 4780 5410.
