Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arranging. It is a disciplined art form using plant material to create an arrangement where nature and humanity are brought together. Nature is always changing and Ikebana expresses the seasons by the use of branches, leaves, grasses and flowers.

About Sandra Cottee
Sandra Cottee creates unique Ikebana arrangements using sensitivity and imagination which gives brightness, colour and life to our environment. Sandra is a teacher of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana and over the past 15 years she has exhibited Ikebana arrangements at the Sydney Botanic Gardens, Sydney Garden Show, the Domain, David Jones Spring Flower Show, Gardening Australia Live and Floriade in Canberra.
