The forum will provide artists with deeper insights and strategies on how to maximise the opportunities available, including: exhibiting your work in public galleries, writing winning funding applications and marketing tactics.

10am – 11am The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre’s Director, Paul Brinkman & Exhibitions Manager, Sabrina Roesner discuss how to exhibit your work in public galleries including what they look for when assessing Expose exhibition proposals.
11am -11:30am The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre’s exhibiting artist, Rachel Peachey discusses her journey as an exhibiting artist including what has worked and what has not.
11:30am -12:30pm Lunch
12:30pm -1:30pm Critical Analyst on grant and funding applications, Jenny-Lee will share her knowledge and experience to improve artists chances of making a winning application.
1:30pm -2:30pm Joan Cameron Smith from the National Association for the Visual Arts explores a range of skills and strategies on researching and establishing new marketing relationships and using online communication tools that artists can use to market and promote their work.
2:30pm – 3pm Refreshments—opportunity to network with guest speakers and fellow artists.
3pm –3:30pm Panel Q&A: Questions from the audience.
